What we do

On the buying side, we make offers on cars that have reached the end: ones that won't run, were wrecked, or have sat too long to be worth fixing. The tow costs you nothing, you're paid at pickup by an app transfer (Zelle, Cash App or similar) or cash, the number we quote never expires, and we can often collect the same day. No title? We can still help: list the papers you do have, like a bill of sale, the registration or an insurance card. Illinois rules settle which of them count for a scrap sale, and we confirm it with you on the call.

On the selling side, we sell processed scrap metal. Buyers reach us through the contact page.

Where we draw the line

We don't buy loose scrap metal from the public: no copper, aluminum, brass, appliances or detached catalytic converters. We don't run a yard you can drive into, and there's no scale or drop-off. We come to the car.

We pick up across Chicago and the Chicagoland suburbs in Cook, DuPage and Will counties (Joliet and Aurora included), plus Northwest Indiana up to Gary: Hammond, Whiting, East Chicago, Munster, Highland, Griffith, Gary, Merrillville, Hobart, Lake Station and New Chicago.
